May was the month of wedding showers for Loren and Phillip. We had one here in Austin given by the bridesmaids, and then one in Dallas given by my mom.
All of the decor for the Austin shower was made by Vivian her sister and she did a fantastic job! She came the night before and the 2 of us got the house decorated and some last minute things done before the rest of the girls showed up the next morning with the rest of the food. The shower was a small one, but fun. Vivian made a really fun game where she had asked Phillip and Loren questions before the shower; she then gave us an answer and we all had to guess which one of them said it.

The next shower was in Dallas at my parents house. Kristen and I helped with decor, and mom did most of the food. Aunt Ramona was going to be a co-host of the shower, but she had been in and out of the hospital with cellulitis of her leg so she was down for the count on shower prep. Most of the guests were my mom's family but also Nina and Gwen came and Loren's mom was able to come. Phillip came to this shower and it was fun to see them open gifts together!
